And hey, if someone else is trying to complete the challenge when you get there, go ahead and let ’em finish. Since this is split into two stages, don’t worry about getting to both phones in a single match. We’ve highlighted the Durr Burger phone to demonstrate what they look like, since A) it’s the first step, and 2) Beef Boss rules and Tomatohead drools. As shown in the graphic above, there are two gigantic phones located on the map. Honestly, this is my favorite challenge in a long time. Dial the Durr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields, etc Try and go for the pieces that are furthest from the bus route that should help limit the chances of running into competition. Food Fight isn’t a good fit here, since the island slowly fills with lava during the match, and Air Royale ain’t gonna help since you’re stuck in a plane the whole time, so good ol’ Battle Royale is probably the mode of choice for hunting these down. The above map shows the locations of all the puzzle pieces on the island, but remember that you only need seven of them to complete the challenge. Search 7 jigsaw puzzle pieces under bridges and in caves Stick with just one balloon at a time, though - two balloons will slow you down too much, and three balloons will remove almost all of your directional control. Deal 100 damage to opponents while using at least one balloonįood Fight is your best bet for getting this done, as it has respawns enabled and those support packages tend to drop balloons pretty frequently. Don’t worry about what you’re actually getting out of the vending machine either, just use one as soon as you see it. There’s not really much of a trick to this one, truth be told! Vending machines like to hang out in the same sorts of places they’d be in real life, so keep an eye out in commercial spaces like Retail Row or the various gas stations around the island. Don’t worry about how you’re going to make it to Frosty Flights from Paradise Palms - since this is a staged challenge, you’ll have to do the second half during another match. As shown above, the map is located on the inside of the south-facing side of a concrete wall on the north side of the center of Paradise Palms. Since this is a two-stage challenge, you’ll have to actually go read the map in Paradise Palms, even though we’ve already charted out where the treasure is for you. Some helpful soul has posted a treasure map on the back of a concrete wall in Paradise Palms, which marks the location of some secret Battle Stars in Frosty Flights. Seeing as this is Week 8 and everything, you’d think that Epic would’ve run out of ideas by now, but this week’s challenges are the most unique slate of tasks I’ve seen in a Battle Pass in months. While the end of Fortnite Battle Royale Season 8 looms ever larger on the horizon, there are still at least two weeks worth of challenges left to tackle before the whole thing barrels over the cliff and we find out what’s buried beneath Loot Lake.
